Inventory work includes full counting of both dead and alive seedlings in selected control plots from the reforested project target sites. So far inventory results  show very good seedling survival rates of 75-90%. This is due to a number of factors including favorable climate conditions in 2014, high quality reforestation material, good work of the selected contractor and comparatively good soil conditions in target sites on the territory of Dragoman Protected Site evaluated at this stage.

Our inventory work is currently ongoing in order to cover all sites reforested under the project. Based on inventory results we will estimate the scale of necessary works fr replacing dead seedlings with new ones scheduled for spring 2015.
